I've been given a Dawes road bike to rehome, so if anyone here knows of anyone looking to take up cycling, or improve physical/mental help and could do with a hand up, let me know.

Bike is roughly medium in size, basic shimano 2x8 gearing, in good mechanical order; probably could do with a quick checkover/safety check and a pair of pedals (it was cycled over to give it to me, so it can't be too bad!).

Free to a good home/worthy new owner, cover the diesel cost and a coffee and I'll get it to you.

I'm in Co Waterford, not far from Carrick on Suir.

Same bike as below (pic borrowed from the net), can get proper pics for any interested party.

Wow, I'd love it! Based in Thomastown but can collect. Or if you're up this way I'd get the misses to bake scones and get the good bag of coffee out!

I was talking to you last year in the shop. I had the Boxer with me
