Would anyone know the approximate cost of a new replacement back bumper for a 2016 Nissan Note ordering from a main dealer? It is the type without fittings for reverse sensors. Also, do they come unpainted or can an exact colour match be requested ?

I assume there's some back story here that you don't want to use a second-hand scrap part? A dealers would be the most expensive way of dong it.

A quick call to your local Nissan dealers parts department would be your best course for a quote. AFAIK they come unpainted, but I'm sure they'd get you a painted one for more money.

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.

Yes. I had a knock to the rear. Large deep dent and paint damage. I have yet to get a quote for the repair but I would expect around 400. So, I was wondering about just ordering a new one and having it fitted. A main Nissan dealership would appear to be the only outlet. I could look for a used one from a breaker's but finding one in the same colour and completely undamaged might be difficult. I'm not claiming on my insurance in this particular instance.

If it only has a dent then it may not be a total loss so first option is have a body shop look at it. They may be able to pull it out, fill it and then respray.

A brand new bumper from a main dealer won't be cheap. Afaik they come primed but not painted so you will still need to get it painted by a body shop. This is probably the dearest option and not worth it imo on a 7 year old car unless it's going through insurance.

You could also get a cheaper spurious patented bumper from a motor factors but again it will need to be painted and sometimes spurious panels don't line up 100%

One from a scrap yard is doable too but will also require painting as even one in the same colour might not match due to it having been on a different car exposed to the elements differently to your own car but you never know you could get lucky.

So if your trying to go with the option that avoids painting at a body shop then I think your going to be disappointed.
