Was 'Soccer' removed from the Sports section?

Firstly, I know the soccer forum is a private group and therefore cannot be listed in the sports section. But last year this suggestion was made:

The idea was to create a soccer forum under the sports category and just use it to provide information about how to join the private group. And that change was done last year. However I no longer see that Soccer forum under Sports. Was it removed? And if so, why?

Why cant there be a general thread for soccer like there was for the world cup last year?

It is there, but you need to enter the Sports category to see it. It's not in the dropdown in the Categories box (Desktop)

It's actually in the second page -

There is also a sticky in this Feedback Forum

I don't know if it has always been missing from the dropdown and I agree it's a bit of a pain to find any of the relevant threads

When @Boards.ie: Mike is back in the office hopefully he will be able to clarify if there has been a change and if we can at least geta direct link in the dropdown
