I've been on the look out one of these for a while and haven't really seen anything that was anyway decent spec or price. All the Irish ones seem to be fairly low spec for a Lexus.

I went on to another motoring forum and mentioned that I was interested and they basically said I was an idiot. Apparently they are just a crap version of a Prius.

I was just wondering if anyone on here has one or has driven one and cared offer their impression of the car?

I had one for 2.5 years, the nicest car I have owned after the 330e, 50 mpg+ car all day long, a small boot, I had a prius phev which was not a patch on the lexus for comfort or quality, but a more practical car.

I imported it from the UK 5 years ago or so, it was cheaper than a Toyota auris at the time.

They aren’t crap, but I still wouldn’t buy one because the infotainment isn’t great, and the boot is on the small side and the rear seats are quite high up because of the batteries.

But if you were in the market for the likes of an A3 or Mercedes A Class, which are similarly sized-then the CT could make lots of sense because they’re very well built and very reliable.

They drive like a Prius, so reasonable refinement, it’s e-CVT gearbox though, so when you put the foot down you’ll really hear the engine. Same as any Toyota hybrid.

I was thinking of going to see this but I was told the mileage is too high because the Lexus warranty only covers up 100k. I was also told they all need a full lexus service history as the battery warranty won't be covered otherwise.

    From Lexus:

“Lexus Hybrid Drive components are covered by a five-year or 100,000km manufacturer’s warranty as standard. Following a successful Hybrid Health Check, you will benefit from a further one-year (or 15,000km) Hybrid Battery Extended Care package and be provided with a certificate to accompany your service documentation. This can be extended annually, for up to 15 years from the first date of vehicle registration.”
