Does French ATC Strike affect flights from Ireland to Spain?

Overflights may be affected apparently but it's unclear which ones. Does anyone know from previous French air traffic controller strikes, were flights from Dublin to Spain affected?

Is it possible to fly from Ireland to Spain without French ATCs?

Flight is tomorrow from Dublin to Ibiza. RTE reported that Ryanair would have to cancel more flights tomorrow but no idea which ones yet.

    Thanks.

Ryanair should have told you before now.Media has announced 350 flights to be cancelled by Ryanair.Work on 250.Spanish flights pass thru the Bay of Biscay and French controlled airspace.

Partner is on a Ryanair flight from Shannon to Alicante this morning. They were due to take off at 10.15 and they are still sitting on the plane. Flight is now at 2.10 so they leave them stuck on the plane for 4 hours before the 2.5 hour flight. I know the French are acting up again but they really do treat people like crap. My worst nightmare being stuck on a Ryanair flight that long

The French treat every other EU nation like crap and are allowed to.The Germans and French control the EU so no hope of change re flights.A few holiday wkends to go this summer season.Book your flights accordingly.Don't forget ferries either

How is it that Ryanair have to cancel so many flights going over France, but not Aer Lingus? Always seems to be the way, no?

So what happens if your flight is cancelled because of the ATC strikes? Are you entitled to a full refund.

The family are heading to Ibiza towards the end of August so I’m hoping the situation is resolved but just in case I’m wondering should I have extra travel insurance for this issue?

Travel insurance wouldn't usually cover strikes.
