Irish Distillers who brews Jameson employs over 600 people in its Dublin and Cork operations…mostly Irish people who rely as do their families on their income from said business and from said business being successful….

yet despite all we have done for the Ukraine and the Ukrainians, which incidentally will never be enough for the Ukranians and their supporters, as has been shown… their ambassador, a guest in this democratic country is demanding Irish people don’t buy Jameson.

This mindset should have alarm bells ringing…. As in any situation globally… you don’t see ambassadors playing politics… the main role of an ambassador is to foster and maintain diplomatic relations with the host country and its citizens ! Way to go here !

some ‘Ambassador’ this one. Threatening Irish indigenous businesses….

she should be summoned to the relevant minister, instructed to keep silent and refrain from getting involved in politics, business or social issues here…. She is an ambassador, not an elected domestic representative….
