I was watching Dr. Phil and couldn't believe it. There was a guy who sent his 'lover', hundreds of thousands of dollars despite never meeting her in person or even hearing her voice.
I've seen dozens of these over the years on the news and it makes me shake my head. these people were grown adults who didn't have seem intellectually disabled yet handed over their entire life savings in some cases.

Plenty of cases of it in Ireland too, usually here it's women chasing foreign pipe.
