Missed my booking date for my driving test

    Hey,

I'm after being caught snoozing. My predicted date to get an invitation to book my driving test is the 16th of April. I ignorantly just kept waiting until this date until a few days ago when I noticed that I had an email from the week before inviting me to book a date for my driving test. Of course it was too late at that point and I was removed from the queue. I've been flat out with college recently and I missed it. Completely my fault.

I resubmitted the application or whatever they prompt you to do immediately. The email said I'd return to the place I had in the queue before the invitation (?) but now I'm after checking my new estimated date and it's now mid-September. This is sort of heartbreaking to be honest as I had plans for the summer.

Does anyone know if it'd be worth my while to ring up an RSA helpline and ask about my date being changed? Or should I just suck it up and wait til September? I understand a queue is a queue and I missed my chance.

    Thank you!
