Karcher k7 Compact - Any good?

Yesterday my Lidl power washer decided to pack in after 3 years. I'm on the look out for a replacement (mainly for driveway and small patio area).

I was looking at this as possible replacement. Karcher website also has a 20% discount this weekend so price would be €399.

I can't comment on that specific model, but I recently got the K4 Power Control Home (includes the patio surface cleaner head). More than powerful enough for my patio and front drive.

I had a karcher, it was ok. Ended up with the Lidl one last year, bigger than the one above and a lot better. I think I paid either 100 or 200 for it. 200bar I think it is but I have a large shed so looking to buy a petrol one now

Had a k5 compact for about 6 years I think. Can't recall what went wrong but I replaced it with a Kraenzle.

Buying a petrol power washer is grand if there's a decent engine coupled with a decent pump. You won't be getting decent of either for €400 though.

The K7 will serve well for general household/yard/car use.

Cheers. In this case the best I could have it to was the capacitor that gives the motor the initial shot of power that gets all the water moving. Everything else checked out.

I have one. Can't compare with other brands, but happy so far with it. Also got the drains cleaning attachments, but haven't tried yet.
