Tesco sent me a message that says:

Your number will soon be going inactive soon, top up by 15 euro, or the number will go inative?

I have an old basic phone that I use occasionally. I topped up in january with a fiver, no problem.

Why is it asking for €15?

SIM should stay active for at least 180 days after adding credit. AFAIK there's no specific criteria for the top up amount required.

Is there any notification about it in the My Tesco Mobile portal?

Wasn't there requirement to make paid call once in 180d to keep it active. Unless things changed...
