Septic tank sub-pump options

    Looks like the sub pump has gone in our waste/septic tank again.

    It's went 2 years ago due to lightening but looked into tank last night and nothing is pumping again. Going to get it cleaned out but say need a replacement pump.

    Last time we replaced with a RX2 Pedrollo which cost about 380euro.

    I guess it's one of better ones on the market, but if anyone knows on cheap er option pumps I'd be grateful to hear.

    Is it possible or indeed economical to repair these pumps ? It could have some minor, cheap to repair, fault or blockage or tripped fuse. You could fit a new one and have the repaired old one as a standby - check with suppliers
