Does anybody know when exactly Decathlon is opening in Limerick?

Website etc says spring, but we are in Spring now and its not open yet :) Anyone have more precise details

Recruitment says start date of early April so should imagine it won't be too long after that.

There's a good bit of working going on there at present, they're erecting some sort of covering over the former garden centre and installing signage along the rear of the building which faces the Childers Road/Parkway.

Passed it yesterday but the place looked jammed and said wait couple weeks.

Hopefully wont disappoint. Might get new Kayak with them as my own is moving on.

Was in, seems they don't have the full stock yet. Kayak gear is only the inflatable stuff, not proper kayak gear. Overall a good addition to what is available in the city.

The retail park it's a part of is crazy busy in general with Curries, TK Maxx and Smyths. The Decathlon shop itself isn't quiet but isn't mad busy either

Swung in last Sunday, the car park was bedlam. Apprently the giant one-way arrows painted on the ground are still too complex a concept for people to grasp.

I was a bit underwhelmed with Decathlon itself, but maybe it's still not fully stocked as was mentioned above.

The Dublin one is never fully stocked. From what I can gather they don't have a warehouse or stock storage, so what's on the shelves is all they have. Staff not really knowledgable on the sports.

But, it's cracking value and the gear is good quality.

I know it's early days yet but every time I go in I can't buy any of the tshirts or anything else that I might want because all the L sizes are sold out, I'm not saying some of them either I mean all, it's mostly only S left on anything, they really do need to sort their stock situation out.

Does anyone find the offering in the Limerick store a bit limited? I don't know what it is, it might just be subjective. But I find myself walking out of there empty handed more often than not.

Definitely, they used to be a must-visit destination whenever we were in France but the Limerick shop is definitely missing something.
