I thought the NCT center was open on Sundays. I just needed a visual look at the car, so rolled up while in Athlone and found it closed.

Are they no longer open 7 days a week?

Some centres cannot get the staff to man them 7 days a week. One of the reasons the backlog on appointments is the way it is.

It seems to depend on the centre. I know Cahir was open last Sunday week.

From a check of the NCT website for opening hours I can confirm that the Athlone centre is not open next Sunday.

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.
