Funny you should say that, I recently upgraded from Virgin 500gb to 1GB . (Possibly unrelated now seeing your post)

i have to reconnect the broadband to the Sky box every day now which is a pain in the hole . Lost connection to alarm station as well . I assumed it was the new 1Gb connection.
i have a technician calling Monday to look into it
Are you seeing something similar?
