So our great holiday of St Patrick's day is less than 24 hours away and is the 2nd after the great Covid Lockdowns in which deprived our great nation of the celebrating the day as we've always done

A day full of parades/joys of been irish and the drink. So what was your Drunkest Paddys Day Stories ??

For years would of helped out at the local parade and would of been had a few 'pints' after in which were grand mostly but me been young not drinking in moderation and been pissed drunk by 8pm (and thinking its 00.30). Things sometimes ended badly and remember failing asleep in the toilets been chucked out by bouncers.

2018 was a pretty drunk one as the day started off early enough with Ireland beating England to win the Grand Slam leading to a lot of 'celebratory pints in quick succession'. Day became a blur from 5pm on and was home in bed by 9pm after been chucked out of a pub for 'having too many'

As the years went on I got wiser, realised 'it's going to be a long day' and drinking in moderation. Better off having a few at home and heading out a bit later.

Never had a Dublin St Patrick's Day experience and hoping I never will. Crowds would just be too much

    Wishing everyone a Great St Patrick's Day 2023 ☘️🍀

If you can remember Paddy's Day, then you weren't really there.

    Although I'm my case, I just wasn't.
