Solis Inverter - Ethernet connection possible?

I recently had solar panels installed and now I am analysing what they have done. I see that the installer has installed a “data logging stick” that connects my Solis inverter to my Wi-Fi.

I would prefer a hard wired solution. If I were to install a local Ethernet point (RJ45 socket) is there any way that the inverter can plug into this rather than depending on with Wi-Fi?

If this is possible it would be a far more robust connection to the cloud.
