Hi folks, I have a medium sized lawn that i am currently cutting with an old electric black and decker lawn mower with a lead taking an hour.

I want to get rid of the lead so am torn between Petrol or Battery -

    Husqvarna LC142i (battery €595) or Husqvarna LC247s (€599)

Obviously there is less maintenance or need to purchase petrol with the battery mower - has anyone experience of these models or advice ? Thanks

The e motor is only .55kW input so I think it will struggle on any other than Astro, especially if the 42 is cms, the 47 on the petrol is a 47 cm deck.

no data on the Amp hrs of the battery

My 12" cabled one is 1.3 kW and struggles if its wet or long.

When mine gets out of hand for the cabled one I borrow a 3.5hp Briggs and stratton

the Husqvarna LC247s is self drive, 2.2 kW, c 3 hp

I think the battery one would break your heart
