Does anyone on here frequently go to the parade in Dublin

Just wondering is it worth the hassle , thinking about bringing the two youngest in to it they are 3 & 5 ,

Get the Dart in & home ,

Is it any use ? would it be worth it ,

At that age, unless you can get access to a balcony overlooking the parade or a grandstand, I wouldn’t be heading into town.

Are there any “regional” type parades anywhere nearby? Most of the big satellite towns around Dublin have one and they aren’t as tractor-heavy as they used to be. Much easier to get to, see the parade, and get out of again.

Plus you can get something to eat handily enough and won’t be crowded out of it by tourists.

    The tide is turning…

I think a regional parade is less hassle and the kids are young an it's should be easy enough to upsell it to them.
