Midleton - is Broomfield safe?

Hi everyone, I’m thinking of buying an apartment in the Broomfield estate in Midleton and was wondering if anyone could tell me about the area? Who lives there ? Is it safe to walk through at night e.g. from the train station? Is it a nice place to live? Thanks!

it's absolutely safe. Lots of young families, lots of kids playing. Short walk into town. I've never really seen any hassle. Most parts (Poppyfields, Meadowlands etc) have grass cutting or residents committees to look after their own areas for grass cutting/litter picking. it's a lovely place to live.
