Ford Focus 2008 Keyfob stopped working.

    Started failing intermittently past few weeks (Would have to hold down the button several times or wait 5-10 seconds.

    --Replaced the fob battery.

    --Now its not working at all.

    --Tried doing reprogramming reset (turn ignition 8 times in 6 seconds )but no joy.

    --Any suggestions?

    *The fob came as a pair with the car (2nd one never worked) but doesn't look like the original ford fob.

    It's either the key is bad, the gem is bad or else you are not doing the programming sequence correctly.

    You should here a beep once you enter programming mode, if you don't hear the beep then you are doing it wrong
