Have had this router for years and would like to replace to help improve signal distribution around the house.
Currently out of contract with Vodafone via Siro and paying €45pm for Gigabit 1000 and getting up to 900Mmps download speeds via hardwire to modem during the day.
However, the tv firestick buffers a bit for matches in the evening so also looking at adding an extender / booster but open to recommendations.
Has anyone successfully replaced the HG659 ? Happy to sign a new contract if it means getting a free decent modem router. Don't have a current landline, disconnected many years ago with the Siro coming in via my ESB meter box.
