Qashqai 1.5DCI Turbo Wastegate rod

    Hi all,

A Qashqai (2011 1.5DCI K9K) that I look after came to me with reports of being sluggish. Codes reported DPF blocked so ran 2x regeneration cycles. Drove OK for two days then the same problem.

I did a bit of digging and found the wastegate rod had broken at the end. I presume this was causing the car to run rich and soot up the DPF in a few days. I popped it back into place, but it comes back off after a while driving.

I looked at parts for the car, and all the wastegates that are shown have a completely different rod than the one on the car.

Is it possible to get a wastegate assembly for this engine? I can see three torx screws holding on the valve, but can't find the part to match anywhere.

    Thanks!

I have the same issue on my vehicle, any luck finding the parts as I can't find a matching part.

    Thanks

Turns out it wasn't a turbo actuator, but part of the EGR valve. I got an EGR valve in a scrap yard for 40 euro and just swapped the plate with the flap, the rod, and the vacuum assembly. If you swap them be SURE the flap is seated in the grove, or you will bend the plate when you tighten down the torx screws.
