I had him in my gaff for 8 years and if I had to go out for a few hours I would leave a video on for him. I live alone and any cat would be spoilt rotten.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your Cat. I'm in a similar position myself - younger cat has been v sick. Had her up to the vet and it turns out she's got chronic kidney disease, unusual in a 3.5 yo. The vets had her on fluid therapy and she's improved but she's very subdued and unlikely to get any better. Waiting a few days to see if there's any improvement, but I don't hold out much hope.

Definitely go to [Mod: snipped] and get a rescue if you can.
