What are they? (No point in asking in existing threads - they're too far gone).

    There are none.

A totalitarian state (Russia, just to be clear) has decided that a neighbouring country does not deserve to exist and has invaded them on the pretext of fighting imagined threats from foreign actors

They have engaged in multiple war crimes and are currently inflicting a terror campaign against a civilian populace with the goal of increasing their suffering

The Russian government has on multiple times stated that they do not recognise Ukrainian language or culture as being valid and intend to replace it with Russian ones. Government spokespersons have even gone as far as to say they wished Stalin had killed all the Ukrainians in the 1930s instead of around 10% of the population (by starving them to death no less, might strike a chord with some Irish people)

Ukraine isn't a perfect state and has deep rooted problems. However they are a democratic nation which has chosen not to live as a proxy state of Russia and for this reason they should be supported in as many ways as possible

Mental difficulties be the only one.

The one reason I've seen - "they're neo nazis", which is flawed: these are folks who don't usually have a problem with neo nazis - and sometimes *support neo nazis*. Plus the president of Ukraine is Jewish. Plus, every citizen of Ukraine should be killed/punished for this? It's not a genuine reason, one would suspect.

    Any solid reasons?

It's not anything other than a thread asking a question Jim.
