I have a Toyota Auris 2008 with a faulty indicator light switch(Common problem).Mine is the no front foglights type .I rang a few breakers and one told me that while both types (no fog lights and front foglights)will fit the NCT can be very sticky on the issue.I can imagine if you had a car with foglights and no switch that would be an issue. How ever if you had front foglights on swich and no foglights would that be an issue.A Toyota swich costs 150 plus vat but i can get one from Micks garage for around 100 but it has front fogs and cornering(Whats that) function.I know the switches can be cleaned but this has already been done but Ill give it another go .Any help on NCT issue would be appreciated.

Easiest thing to do is get the part replaced with a new one, try a few motor factors rather than micksgarage for the correct switch. The nct wont fail if it has a fog light switch but no fogs.

Find out the part number and Google it.
