Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Apprenticeship and temporary layoff

    hi all. My son is in his third year as an electrical apprenticeship. He started with a large reputable company. He did his 5 months in College but they wanted to send him to a site 100 miles away. He then got an offer from a small company, which he foolishly took (personally, I think he should have stayed with the security of the larger firm). However, the new firm have just sent him home today with a temporary layoff form. He is gutted. He is only 21. He needs to finish his apprenticeship. Has this every happened to any of ye?? Not sure how to advise my son as he's gutted at the minute
