Buying first car

    Hi

    Hoping to buy first car in next while - just have provisional licence, are you able to test drive on learner permit does anyone know or will I need to bring someone with me to drive for me?

    It's not so much the license type as the insurance. Only somebody with insurance on that car can drive it. If you have a friend with an insurance policy allowing them to drive all cars (as long as they don't own them) ..then they can test drive. The seller usually but not always still has insurance on the car they're selling. You can ask the seller to go for a test drive with them driving.
