Going abroad for dental treatment

I require 3-4 crowns and a night guards. The cost is coming in at about 800/crown and 900 for the guard. After tax relief it's about 2600 to 3200 euro.

I have done some research on the web the only real savings in the EU is to go to Slovakia or Croatia where the treatment will cost about 50% of the price inc flights and accommodation.

Has anyone ever got dental work do ebin either of these locations.

Going abroad for dental treatment is a good decision, but it is very costly and lack of insurance coverage. So keep in mind only a high amount of savings is a possible way to treatment your teeth in abroad.

Did you ever consider vhi dental?

50% paid for the crown and 2k per dental implant (max 5 per year).

I would strongly disagree with the first sentence, and also by the time you factor in travel, time out of work and accomodation generally savings are minimal. Most tourism dental clinics will end up recommending a lot more work than 3 crowns and a nightguard, and the op has no recourse in the case of remedial treatment as happens often with dental work.

There are plenty of dentists in Ireland who offer interest free payment plans for expensive procedures. Easy to find with Google. I believe that would be a better, safer option than dental tourism. And you'd have peace of mind if anything went wrong because they would be handy to sort it out.
