Dublin preferably. UCD only sees two cats a month and there are four in the queue already. My cat has skin allergies and the vet can't treat it. Nothing has worked so far and there's only so many steroid injections he can give him. He suggested a dermatologist. Anyone have any recommendations? You can pm me if you don't want to go public. Thanks

Unfortunately Cork based not Dublin but I’ve heard nothing but good things about this vet. https://www.skinvet.ie/

There are several veterinary dermatologists in Dublin and the surrounding area that you can contact for an appointment. One option is the Veterinary Dermatology Referral Service (VDRS), which is based in Dublin. They have a team of board-certified specialists who provide advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services for dogs and cats with skin and ear conditions.

Another option is the Dublin Veterinary Hospital, which has a team of veterinary specialists, including veterinary dermatologists, who can provide advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services for dogs and cats with skin and ear conditions.

You can also check with your regular veterinarian or other local veterinary hospitals and clinics to see if they have a referral service or if they can recommend a veterinary dermatologist in the area.

It's important to keep in mind that finding the right veterinary dermatologist may take time, so it's important to be patient and persistent in your search. It's also important to keep in mind that your cat's health and well-being should be a top priority, and that you should not hesitate to seek out the best care for him, even if it means traveling outside of Dublin.

Thanks. He's already on the waiting list for UCD. I'll see if the Dublin Veterinary Hospital can see him faster.

Traveling outside Dublin is not an option for me. Caring for my elderly mother is top priority.
