Fitting Pressure Pump

    Hi All,

Just looking for a bit of advice please on fitting a pressure pump to my hot and cold supply for the house. I’m looking to install this pump "Salamander CTforce 20" and just want to make sure I will be doing it properly the way I’m thinking of.

Pressure in our house is abysmal seeing the hot tank is on the same floor so showering is a nightmare! I could fit the pump to the direct feeds of both the bathroom and en suite (under the floor) but that would mean a lot more pipework so I’m thinking of just fitting it to the main feeds from the hot tank and cold supply.

I was thinking of using a 3.0 bar pump, but I feel that may drain the tank too quickly, so I am thinking more 1.5 / 2.0 bar to run the house (bar the kitchen as that runs off the mains) My plan is to fit the pump to both the hot and cold feed in the image attached. Just want to make sure that this site would be best suited for the pump or would there be another option I’m not thinking of.

    Any input much appreciated,

    Thanks Matjay
