    Hi

in middle of discussing a campsite (mobile home) holiday in France for June. There are so many to chose from! But if anyone could personally recommend something we’d really take it on board. We plan to drive/sail to Cherbourg. 4 young kids so max we’d like to drive 5/6 hours from there, that gets us roughly as far as La Rochelle area or a bit further. A priority is a good swimming area with some slides etc. (kids are 7,6,4 and 2)

    thank you in advance

Not sure if Le Clary’s is in reach of there, we flew to Nantes and rented a car the couple times we were there but it’s a really good site and area and quite a few Irish there too if that’s your thing

Consider Les Charmettes near Royan. Very suitable for small kids. Is just 6h30 down from the boat at Cherbourg or Roscoff.
