Anyone that can't use a yellow box junction is stupid and they are everywhere and in every county.

That would be Galway, very few know how to use the yellow box around the city. In fact very few know how to use roundabouts or know how to take off swiftly when lights turn green in Galway city.

    Certified or uncertified?

    What moroneter are you using?

Dublin has plenty. Two people with their dogs walking through Gledswood Park today. Walking side by side on a two person footpath. The guy walking toward them had nowhere to go. It never occurred to the two Morons to step back, one behind the other to let the other person pass. It actually let to a footpath collision. This is a regular occurrence.

A lot of people from the border counties - Donegal, Cavan, Monaghan and Louth tend to be very backward. Country music, bad teeth, leaving school early, turn a blind eye to criminality in the area.

It depends on what you consider stupid.

    Affluent areas in South Dublin.

definitely East Wall in Dublin due to how gullible they are in following a known right wing agitator and holding up traffic every week because they don't want some refugees in a nearby building and believe all the made up crap that they are fed.

So East Wall for me is where the really stupid people are

I think Laois must have the most stupid people in the country. They are so many hill billys there. One time I was unfortunate enough to have to stop off in Portarlington and I thought I was in a real life version of ‘The Hills have eyes II’. Lucky to get out of there alive. They don’t even have the internet there.

Slightly different demographic displayed here insofar as dog owners, I would consider most city types walking dogs once a week andery borderline on levels of stupidity.

Take are communicating with them for starters, often sharing sleeping quarters etc. Generally nailed down here.

It's when you hear the banjo music from Deliverance, that's when you get out immediately.

Mayo. Good God, mayo. Even without the Burkes.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

There are smart and stupid people in every county.

County Oireachtas would probably have the most per capita.

Although party planner HQ would also be in the running.

Apparently the average IQ in 31 counties temporarily went up on the dates of the Garth Brooks concerts.

All non Irish people reading this thread can sit back with your popcorn while we reveal what we really think of each other.

Not just Galway unfortunately. Had someone beep me yesterday because I wasn't driving into the yellow box even though I would have blocked it by doing so. Do people not realise that I would have held back traffic if I sat in the yellow box?

I believe that was the working title for the Sally Rooney novel.

Yes and what's wrong with talking with your pet be it a cat or a dog or some other pet? Answer not a thing. I do it all the time. I know they have no idea what I am saying but it's the noise they here and from that they learn and know by it what you want them to do well with dogs anyway.

How do these people even drive a car then? Do they just do the theory test and then forget everything in it after?

I travel the country regularly and the worst place to drive is Galway, whatever it is about the place but the level of driving is chronic

Only county I've seen cars more than once going the wrong way around a roundabout was Carlow.

Wake me up when it's all over.

Cork, they think they're in the capital despite all evidence to the contrary.

I did hear a story about a Galway Fianna Fail TD (Mark Killilea I think it was) who was doing some speech back home in rural Galway off the back of a lorry trailer type job.

Dates from early 80's or something like that.

    At one point he goes

"Before I went up to Dail Eireann, I was as thick as the rest of ye"

    They all clapped and cheered.
