Any regulation limitations to install inverter above water tanks?

I'm currently doing a full renovation of my house in Dublin. In our new utility room, we'll be installing a hot water cylinder and a water feeder tank (same size as hot water cylinder). Both of these will be side by side on the ground.

I am not installing PV panels immediately but my electrician will do enabling works for inverter etc. Does anyone know if there is a regulation limitation on position of inverter? The only place I can install it is directly above the tanks.

There's restrictions on equipment in a hotpress

Only pump and motorized valves and the like allowed ,I forget the exact rule

    Thanks for that.

The ceiling is a good height so we can definitely have a separate press for the tank and have room above for an inverter, but I'd still worry it's not allowed.

    Any other advice is welcomed.

Sorry you said utility room didn't see that

Probably depends on the layout , your electrician will be able to answer from the plans anyhow

He didn't think it was an issue, but he hasn't given me a confident answer!

I'm waiting to hear back from a PV company, so I'll be asking them directly in any case.

Is it a sealed tank (fully enclosed) or common attic tank with a lid?

I presume what you would do is close off the section with the cylinder so that becomes a hotpress and the remaining space is utility room

Dunno if that flies as an acceptable method

It's sealed. I believe it's very similar to a hot water cylinder.

As far as I know, common attic tanks, using gravity for pressure, are not used in newer builds. The feeder tank will use a small pump to improve water pressure in the house, which is pretty poor at the moment.

Looking at the other thread it's probably an airing room not a hotpress

Probably the hotpress rules don't apply I would think
