    Hi

I just last week installed two new batteries to my Solis inverter. The connection is apparently correct and works but after a few minutes it deconfigures as it show in the attached picture the flashing leds.

CAN Comm Fail alert appears like show in the image. I test assembled both cables that comes with the inverter and the one that comes with the batteries and come up CAN Comm Fail alert in both ones.

Also to sure separate the communication cable from the power cable.

Also change the master position between batteries with the same result.

    I am lose…

My technical support in Spain is on vacation.

Can you help me? Any idea?

    thanks in advance..

My guess is that the battery is either not supported by Solis or that you have the incorrect battery selected in the inverter settings.

You couls also have a look at this thread here https://www.boards.ie/discussion/2058247194/settings-for-solis-inverter-dyness-batteries

Does one battery connected alone work? What did you have before? A different battery or none?

In the pic of the batteries, are you sure you have the data cables the right way round?

My interpretation is that the cable should be going from the out of one into the "in" of the other then from the "out" of the master to the inverter.

    Does one battery work alone?

    Are the dip switches correct?

Check the battery settings under Advanced Settings (code should be 0010 on the inverter) and see if it's set to Dyness LV

    Thanks for your comments.

I check both batteries individually each one the last 4 days. Works perfect without alarms. With the battery pins 0010 and Dyness LV in Solís Inverter.

Is clear that in parallel for the moment don’t works.

I contacted with dyness service. They will send a wifi module to upgrade the battery program.

We’ll see. I’ll comment the result.

Attach pictures of both batteries working individually. Without alarms.

Dip switches are both set as master.

you also need to cable between batteries to allow them to talk to each other.

    2 things incorrectly done there.

look at my posts in the “A48100” thread. Plenty of info there . No need to open a new post.

    You are right.

The pictures showed the batteries working individually without problem.

    Hi

Finally, I got very good support from the Dyness brand. I contacted them and they gave me a Wi-Fi module. After installing it, I was able to communicate with a technician via WhatsApp who told me how to update the software individually on each battery. Once this was done I was able to connect the two batteries and since then they work correctly. The alarm no longer appears.

The mobile application is very good, and it gives a lot of battery information and in real time much better than the Solis application.

thank you very much for your help.
