New job parental leave

    I finished my last work contract shortly before having a baby. I was entitled to 6 months maternity benefit which has recently run out. I've been offered a new job starting in a few weeks. Will I be entitled to parental leave straight away or do I have to pass probation first?

    You need to be there a year before you are entitled to it, generally. There is an exception if your kid is nearing the max age limit.
