I really can not believe there is not a thread on this film.

I went and seen it this afternoon.

Excellent film. Its the type of film that gets in under your skin and you care for it all. The sounds in it, the directing, the music and the ending were all perfect.

They could have went over board with the ending and made it all dramatic but thankfully they did not.

10 out of 10 from me.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

I went to it yesterday and felt the exact opposite. It was ok.

we did not really get to see any of Whitney’s personality, unless she really did not have one.

She came across as completely vacant and a bit unlikeable.

what I did pick up on was that her addictions were there before Bobby Brown.

i agree totally with this review.

No interest in watching this but there was a documentary from a couple of years ago about her, iirc called Whitney, that makes for an interesting watch. By all accounts it was her brothers that were the drivers behind her drug habit and ongoing supply chain. A sad end to a glittering career.

agree 100%.... thought the movie did her no justice at all - twas badly written and directed imo.. Clive and Robyn were well acted imo.. but overall not a patch on Bohemian Rhapsody or Rocketman.. but I did enjoy some of her solo's - esp the super bowl one.. and yes I too did not know that her addictions were there b4 Bobby.. I watched a doc about them once that kinda made him out to be the cause of her collapse..

    will read that review later..
