I recently bought a car with a full years NCT but later that day discovered that the rear doors don’t open from the inside which is a very clear safety issue I feel should fall under the NCT checks. I checked all the obvious things like child lock and the lock button in the front of the car. You can hear the locks the click on and off using that button.

But I’m wondering how they managed to get the car though without that working. I’m worried they’ve done something unethical to get the pass.
