Hi I've just bought the Samsung soundbar b450 which comes with a sub-Woofer. Looking to add some extra speakers into the mix for surround sound. Do you know if non-Samsung speakers would be compatible, and if so, which ones? Also happy to go with Samsung speakers if the price is right. Looking to spend around 100 euro ideally but could go higher. Thanks

    Hi abctruck,

    Thanks for the post!

Unfortunately soundbars are proprietary so you can't run different speakers from them. You would need to go with the Samsung wireless rear speaker kit but we are completely sold out of them unfortunately!

Let me know what you think.

    Kind regards

    David

Thanks! Can you confirm for me whether the SWA 9500S rear speakers are fully wireless or whether they are wired into a station seperate to the soundbar, this is what I saw in a youtube clip on Juan Camacho's chanel.

Also, could you please confirm are these rear speakers compatible with the Samsung soundbar b450? Thanks a mill!

    Hi Abctruck.

They don't have a separate box for connecting them too but they both need mains powered.

Unfortunately The SWA-9500S Wireless Rear Speakers do not work with the HW-B450 Soundbar.

Thanks again. In that case, are there any rear speakers that you would recommend that are compatible with the HW-B450 Soundbar?

    Hi Abctruck.

According to the Samsung website it is the following:

*Additional purchase of Samsung Wireless Rear Speaker Kit, SWA-9200S is necessary.

There is a very small quantity of these left in our main warehouse, currently priced at 229 Euro

Delivery would not be until the end of the year / start of the New Year due to the couriers holidays.
