Hi All,

Thinking of taking the plunge on 40tdi A6 with about 100k kms.
Lovely car, and very impressed with the comfort and tech.
However, my question is how reliable they are for a long term proposition?
Is there anything to be concerned about?
Is there a belt or a chain on this engine, and anyone know the interval if its a belt.

The adblue system has been known to give issues even on one’s with plenty of long runs. To fix properly is new pump, tank and injector. Very expensive….
