Go into BMW and ask to borrow one to loosen, then order a replacement through them at the same time :)

Would they have one that would fit my wheels? Any idea how much a replacement is? Thanks

If you're driving an 07 beemer forgive me for assuming you don't want to spend a lot of cash. Therefore try a breakers yard .

You assume correctly! So those lock nut keys aren’t unique and a scrap yard could have one that would fit my car?

Stick up a photo of the head of the security bolt.

There are a fair few of each model of lock nut so a scrappy is likely not going to help with a lock nut.

Bmw will have a master key set if your lock nuts are original bmw.

Try on line various scrapyards. Some ones have to be breaking beemers . Also ask on beemer forums .In no time some aficionado will tell you the exact dimensions of your nut so to speak

When this happened to me,the garage welded ordinary nuts onto them and loosened them that way.
