New lease required ?

    Where 3 people sign a lease for an apartment and one person leaves.

    The two remaning, want to stay and fill the vacant room.

    Does a new lease have to be drawn up and new Registration with the rtb actioned.

    (The rent is increasing , it's the first increase in over three years and is just over 3% of an increase)

    Two remaining are on HAP , so do they have register with new rent increase / new lease ?

    The person you will replace, the third person, has to be vetted and agreed with the landlord. New lease will have to be made.

    Remember the shills only get paid when you react to them.

    It is possible, with the consent of the landlord, to assign the interest of the departing person to the new person and thus the same lease continues.
