Air Conditioner Compressor - 2012 Grand Scenic - issues sourcing one

Hoping from some pointers from the experts on here.

Air Con Compressor seized up on the Scenic, breaking the belt etc

Anyway - need to get the compressor replaced however I am having little luck sourcing an affordable (Price of a new one is eye watering) one online. We don't need the aircon as such, just need the car back up and running again.

There are two numbers that I think are relevant on the pump:

    926005211R

    6SBL14C

I've not been able find a unit (in stock) online that has a unit to match those.

Can anyone point me towards somewhere that might be able provide something to do the job?

    Thanks in advance,

Not contradicting you because I haven't seen it but here's a thought.

If the pump is jammed the pulley should freewheel if aircon is turned off. If the pulley is seized the compressor should spin so one should cancel out the other. Unlikely both are seized. Any chance it's the alternator pulley clutch thats seized, more likely reason to break the belt.

If the compressor pulley spins just unplug the wires to prevent the compressor engaging.

Thanks, it's in the hands of a garage and I am just seeing if I can get a compressor as they've advised they are finding it difficult.

The alternator itself gave in a week ago. I had it fully reconditioned including new pulley, that plus the fact the experts have told me the compressor is goosed and a replacement is needed is pointing me towards getting a replacement.

Not contradicting you either, just going on what I have been told. Thanks for the advice.

Can you get a shorter belt and bypass the compressor completely? I've seen it done on an avensis, not sure if it can be done with your engine.
