It might suit. I've bought a few things off the seller he's sound.

Yeah I know Kevin and am due a visit to his 'Aladins Cave' but that frame will take a max 25c tyre from memory!

"MUST HAVE CLEARANCE FOR 28-30C tyres and be RIM brake"

That's a difficult brief! I've been on the lookout for something like that for over a year and no luck whatsoever. It seems to me like there was a tiny window or availability for those frames, just at the introduction of disc brakes when wider tyres became a thing. But instead of buying rim frames most everyone switched to discs.

Also, what kind of rim calipers will accomodate 28's? I thought 9100 and the likes maxed out at 28?

A last-chance-saloon wider-clearance rim-braked TCR is what I'd love but - hen's teeth they are. (Don't get me started on DD and Giants, every single one for sale for 18 months has been size M, grrrr - where the fcuk are all the M/L's!!!!!!???!! :D)

I had 28mm Conti GP tires on my Canyon Ultimate 2015 (Ultegra 6800 calipers). Needed to deflate the tires to take the wheel off so didn't clear perfectly - but at the same time the main reason to take a wheel off is to change a flat so it would be deflated anyway. I was under the impression that Ultegra 8000 or 105 7000 rim brakes were fine for 28mm

I have 28s on a bike with DA9000 callipers and no problem there either. I think it depends a bit on the rim as well I’ve seen mentioned that narrow rims ‘mushroom’ the tyre wider compared to wider rims. In saying that the rims I’m using are only 16mm internally and clearance is still fine anyway with those callipers.

I have campagnolo record single pivot calipers on my tommasini and they will clear 28s with ease. Dual pivot gets tight due to the set up.

I have found chinese manufacter that has a rim brake frame and says it will clear up to 32c tyres. But as mentioned above its the brake clearance that can bet the issue.

Ah yeah, me knows how search works :D I'm looking for an advanced pro or SL.

Yet another one just gone up on Facebook.... Medium. Honestly it's bizarre!

Im in the Giant TCR Facebook group and there is a lad from a Giant dealer in Scotland who posts framesets from time to time. He just put up a few today but not sure if they are rim or disc, might be worth looking at

What's the name of the group? I had a gander around there but didn't see anything obvious. (Presume it's not the TCR Philippines one! 😁)
