Batteries not charging

    Hi,

I've a Solis inverter with 2 X soluna batteries. But the batteries are not being charged by the panels or the grid they are at 20-21% for the last couple of days. They seem to be discharging every so slightly at 0.072kW. I've checked the setting but everything seems to be in order. But I have one question mark regarding advanced settings. In battery select, and Force Charge SOC it's set to 15% which is fine. But ForceChg PLmt is showing and set to 5000w. Below that it says Power limit: On.

Should Forcechg PLmt and Power limit be on our showing on this page? And should power limit be on?

I've also attached pics of the information pages

They are not being charged from solar currently because there isn't enough solar.

As for charging from grid, that's not where you setup grid charging. I can't remember the place to set that up

The solis inverter runs on battery power or solar power, so that's why your seeing some discharge.

Thanks for the reply. I'll check with Solis support. Hopefully they can troubleshoot remotely.

But what is the problem? (There hasn't been enough sun to generate enough power to generate excess power to charge batteries)

4kwh today, 3kwh yesterday. Is the app showing any export?

Are you looking to charge the batteries from the grid on night rate?

Regarding the force charge, that's correct, when the batteries hit 15% it will force charge from the grid, at 5000w

The batteries are not discharging to the house. They've been at 21% the last 2 days. They haven't increased with charge or decreased with discharge.

I also thought they'd top up the remaining capacity at night from the grid?

They will only charge at night, if you've set them to charge at night.

In settings, it's in the storage mode setting, where you set times to charge, and at what rate,

    Leave the discharge at 00:00/00:00
