    It's a new build..

Next step is to get a solicitor

    Contact bank

    Snagger

    Engineer to inspect house

    Life assurane

I'm probably missing a lot here.. Any advice/tips? Also is it a good idea to take recommendations off the auctioneer for the above jobs?

    Thanks for any help

You should have sourced the solicitors already when thinking of buying a house.

I wouldn't go with what the auctioneer recommended, I would do my own homework. Search solicitors in your vicinity, look at the reviews, ask for quotes. You will notice big price gaps.

Engineer may be sent by the bank no? As they need to approve the loan.

Definitely contact bank ASAP as it will take a bit for drawing the funds.

    Congrats by the way!!

Remember the shills only get paid when you react to them.
