My husband is a primary teacher on a career break but working as a substitute teacher. Does anyone know if he should get his backdated pay automatically or if he needs to contact payroll? He hasn't got it yet. I'm a civil servant and I received mine 2 weeks ago

Probably no harm in ringing to enquire about his career break situation.

Teachers payroll is up to their tits with work and not ready to back date pay yet. I know some people in that payroll and the back dated pay programs are in testing at the moment. No idea on a release date .
