I'm trying to help my partner get a work from home job. Any specific websites ? The usual sites seem to be offering mostly telecom broadband tech support type work from home jobs, not much of a diversity of other job types.

    Thanks

What is their career area or are they just looking for any entry level type job?

If it's the latter then you are going to get a lot of call center type jobs that will now accommodate working from home.

And if you think about it other entry level type jobs require a physical presence, like retail, catering, production line etc.

But if they have a career then it's really a case of finding the individual job advertisements in that career area and enquiriy during the application process if working from home can be accompanied.

Just an entry level type job. She doesn't have any expertise in any particular area. She is open minded about whatever sort of work from home job she can get.

How about recruitment firms like Noele etc. My sister done it for a few years. She would have to place people with jobs or job interviews over the phone. The only thing is someone could ring at anytime there is no real life unless she gets two phones one for business and one for private calls so she can turn the business one off when she wants some time away from it. No idea if recruitment firms still do that do but wort a try. It's a good few years now since the sister was doing that.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

We called Noel's the other day actually and they only specialise in Temps and permanent roles in office type jobs.

My partner doesn't really have much an an educational background other then an IT certificate she got after she left school years ago. She can't afford to be choosy as so to speak. She would be more comfortable setting up a little space in the house and working from home. If that is what she wants to do then that's fine.

Call centres at mentioned are probably the only real option at an entry level.
