Hi folks, maybe someone have replaced their regular H7 dip light bulbs to an led lights? Wondering much difference there?

As now mostly pitch black when driving home, my audi a3 (2008) on motorway lights not that efficient as other cars... Also difficult to drive when cant see road properly. Both lights are working.

When google up for led lights, there is a lot of them in wide price range, so wonder people have experience with led lights in regular cars.

    Thanks.

Interested too. I used to fit Philips Night Breakers or Osram Beam Breakers

but they were too expensive to replace each time one went and were not much

better than an ordinary halogen H7's.

Replaced mine with katur led got from amazon, a bit fiddly to install but decent enough light & have lasted about 2years so far. They won't pass the nct though so have to put ordinary bulbs in for the test.

I changed my h7s in my mondeo to led and the difference is pretty much like night and day. I would highly recommend. Just make sure your headlights are balanced correctly. For the mk4 mondeo I had to get adapter rings but it's definitely doable at home.

Difference is significant. To drive in dark now is way easier. Nearest time will pop in in garage to check lights on machine. Id say successful upgrade. Nobody flashed from oncoming traffic, people were not blinded. Hope them will last. Pictures from outside of car were making from waist level.
