Team Leader interview

    I have applied for role as Team Leader. If anyone has any advice on how to prepare and tips that would be good.I presume it be be competency based interview etc.

    Leading a team doing what? That matters hugely.

    It would be in Financial services.A team of 7 to 10.

    Brush up on reports, how to write them and include an overview.

    Look into team motivation, skills within the team or areas there might be room to improve.

    Overall, look at how the team you will lead can fit into the overall big picture, can you organise savings, projects, anything like this to help support the larger company.

    How can you lead, mentor, support and ultimately achieve your KPI

    Have examples from the past where you have led, planned, guided, mentored a team and delivered something of value if possible.

    Also how do you handle conflict on a team ?
