Cork-city-based singer-songwriter looking for musicians to form band, get good and then gig. I'm told I have a Cranberries-type-thing going on. Looking for a guitarist, drummer and bassist to start with anyway (I do play guitar but would prefer not to have to do so the whole time).

Hey,

Sorry I didn't get a notification that you'd messaged and I only logged in today.

I suppose the focus for me really would be the original music - I feel like the songs are strong enough to stand on their own and I would like for people to hear them performed with a full band.

Now having said that, I'm not averse to doing some covers just for the craic and it might help to have a few fun ones for gigs and for helping to get gigs - so maybe some Fleetwood Mac or Janis Joplin or Cranberries even, or whatever works. But I'm not aiming to form a "covers band" as such...
